Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WiFi Speed Test (the "Application", "App"). By downloading, installing, opening, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Application.

1. App Purpose

WiFi Speed Test is a utility application designed to help users estimate internet and WiFi performance, including download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter, packet loss, and latency behavior.

2. Speed Test Results and Accuracy

Speed test results are estimates based on network conditions, device performance, selected server, endpoint availability, routing, congestion, WiFi signal quality, mobile network conditions, and other technical factors outside our control.

Results may vary between tests and may differ from results shown by other speed testing services. The Application is provided for informational and diagnostic purposes only and does not guarantee exact measurement accuracy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Application only for lawful and reasonable personal diagnostic purposes. You must not:

• Use the Application to overload, abuse, attack, or disrupt any network, server, endpoint, or service.
• Reverse engineer, modify, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Application except as allowed by applicable law.
• Use automated tools or scripts to repeatedly run tests in a way that may cause excessive traffic.
• Attempt to bypass purchase checks, unlock paid features without authorization, or commit fraud.
• Use the Application in any manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Premium Features

The Application may offer optional purchases through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat, including:

• Supporter One-Time: Removes all ads while the one-time purchase entitlement is valid and unlocks a Supporter badge.
• Monthly Supporter: Removes all ads, unlocks a Supporter badge, and enables custom supporter app icons while the subscription is active.
• Premium Lifetime: Unlocks advanced metrics, latency charts, ICMP loss insights, extended history, CSV export, a badge and eligible app icons. Ads remain included.

Prices, availability, taxes, and purchase terms are shown by Google Play before confirmation. Purchases are processed by Google Play, and we do not collect or store your payment card details.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Monthly Supporter subscriptions are managed by Google Play. You can cancel your subscription through your Google Play account subscription settings. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals, but you may retain access until the end of the paid billing period, according to Google Play policies.

We cannot cancel your Google Play subscription on your behalf. The Application may provide a shortcut to the Google Play subscription management page for convenience.

6. Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Google Play policies. If a purchase is refunded, the corresponding access or entitlement may be removed after Google Play and RevenueCat update the purchase status.

Purchase status updates may not be instantaneous due to store processing, caching, network delay, or RevenueCat synchronization. Ads may return when an ad-removal purchase is refunded or revoked, or when a Monthly Supporter subscription expires. Buying Premium Lifetime does not cancel Monthly Supporter or replace its ad-removal entitlement.

7. Local Data and Export

Speed test history is stored locally on your device. Premium users may export history to CSV. You are responsible for how you store, share, or transmit exported files.

We are not responsible for loss of local history caused by uninstalling the app, clearing app data, device failure, operating system changes, or user actions.

8. Third-Party Services and Endpoints

The Application may connect to third-party diagnostic endpoints, including Cloudflare and public LibreSpeed servers, plus Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, Google AdMob and UMP. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. ICMP loss uses 20 probes to 1.1.1.1; blocked or unsupported ICMP is reported as unavailable. HTTP response timing is separate from ICMP loss.

Network endpoints used for testing may change, become unavailable, rate-limit traffic, respond slowly, or produce inconsistent results. Auto checks latency, download and upload availability and may restart the test on an alternative after failure. A suitable result is not guaranteed on every network. We are not responsible for availability or behavior of third-party endpoints.

Advertising privacy choices are managed through the configured UMP form and the available Settings entry. Declining personalisation does not necessarily remove all permitted advertising. Ads and ad-free benefits depend on consent status, connectivity and valid purchase entitlements; accidental or repeated ad clicks must not be used to support the developer.

9. No Professional Network Advice

The Application provides general network diagnostic information only. It is not a professional telecommunications, engineering, legal, or contractual verification tool. You should not rely solely on the Application for disputes with service providers, business-critical monitoring, compliance verification, or guaranteed performance measurement.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application at any time, including features, supported endpoints, purchase options, Premium benefits, or user interface elements.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, network costs, device issues, service interruptions, or reliance on speed test results.

13. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the Application or certain features if we believe you have violated these Terms, attempted fraud, abused services, or used the Application in a harmful or unlawful manner.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws.
